Designer + Context ‘23
Overview:The objective of this project was to research, outline, and creatively present information about a chosen designer, in this case, Saul Bass, utilizing print, motion, or interaction to educate the class about their significance. After researching Bass's personal life and design career, images of his work were collected to inform the design process. Ultimately, the project culminated in the creation of a set of five posters, with a primary focus on Bass's roots in the Bauhaus movement and his contributions beyond title sequences, though challenges arose in integrating surrealist elements relevant.
