KEY ‘23
Overview:This project required choosing any 3/4/5 letter word, studying the meaning the meaning, origin, and impact the chosen word had on language. Once I decided on the word “key”, I began drawing letter characters. The line, weight, stress, height, width, etc. were all required to relate to the function of the chosen word. i wanted to show a three dimensional “Key” where a person could unlock hidden compartments in each letter to find small unexpected objects. I also wanted to demonstrate my ability to take a design idea and manifest it into an interesting three dimensional object.
